A book that I grabbed on a whim (thinking it had something to do with a popular hashtag that was circulating on Instagram at the time) put a total earworm in my head!

What makes me happy? How do I do more of what makes me happy? What does that even mean in the reality of busy schedules?

They were questions that took over my thoughts, and questions I had never asked myself before. Questions that I really didn’t have answers for.

And so a project was born, a happiness project inspired by this book.

It inspired this blog. And led me to my 12 commandments. And it helped me answer the question – what makes me happy? And how do I make more time for happy?

This little blog here doesn’t serve a bigger purpose. I am no recipe creator; I don’t write workouts or share exercise tips; and I certainly offer no expertise or ideas on how to parent, work from home, or dominate at life.

But in this little corner of the internet, I capture my life’s golden moments. I practice the art of taking a bit of time (as often as possible) to reflect on all that makes me happy. And in this space, I am building a savings account of happiness, so that I may never lose sight of my core values, and always have a reservoir of happy to turn to.

Thank you for stopping by! And if you take away anything from this site and these posts, I hope you take a way a bit of inspiration to live every day doing more of what makes you happy!
