Mastering Nothing

Perhaps it was the trip to the State Fair. Perhaps it was the great finger infection saga of ’16. But this weekend, the only thing we were in the mood for was – nothing.

Is all we could muster the energy for was our daily walks at the lake. But otherwise read stacks of books, napped, and snuggled.

It was all sorts of amazing to give ourselves permission to save productivity for another time.

Now we are just going to keep smiling and pretend we don’t have anything to do today, to make up for the weekend of nothing-ing! 😉
