Last week was a lot of the usual happenings. But we were all distracted with anticipation for Wrigley’s big Halloween birthday bash, that we had been carefully planning since the end of summer.
I mean. You only turn 5 once, right?
We decorated the inside and outside.
Coordinated the food.
And counted down the days.
I didn’t get many pictures from the night. We had a full house, with lots to keep up with!
And this was our first go at a kid’s birthday bash, which meant lots of little ones running around.
The party seemed to begin and end so quickly!
All the kids went crazy over the Key’s birthday cake and the gift opening. It was like swarms of littles one towards sugar and toys.
And guess what? Nobody got my Babe the Blue Ox costume. Classic Monica situation.
Everyone thought Dan was a lumberjack, and that I was….well….blue.
We ended the weekend on a lazy note.
And then Dan and I stayed up way too late watching game 5 of the World Series. So are in literal zombie form for this spookie day of the dead.
Looking forward to the arrival of November and the winter that isn’t far behind, which means hibernation time for this bear family!
