What a wild start to the week. So many things.
Monday in particular was all sorts of juggling. And by dinnertime, Dan and I were both in divide and conquer mode so that we could wrap up the day at a decent hour.
Without missing a beat, Dan herded the boys to an early bath, so that I could prep dinner without little ones under foot.
Somehow that fifteen minutes of quiet to cook dinner alone, was all that I needed to catch my breath.
After dinner, and a brief clearing of the table, Dan grabbed some games and gathered the family for some play time all together.
Again, it was exactly what was needed. Not just for me, but for all of us.
I don’t get how he does it, but he does it so perfectly. He always knows how to take care of us all, each of us, and all at once.
